De Lu is an Ed.M. candidate in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He also works as a Risk Analytics Manager on the enterprise fraud team at a large national bank, focusing on fraud detection and strategy. De is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and contributes to the ACFE Insights blog, where he writes about practical ways consumers can recognize and avoid financial scams. He holds an M.S. in Project Management from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering. Educated in China, Germany, and the United States, De is passionate about financial literacy and volunteers as an instructor with community organizations across Boston. At HGSE, he is exploring how learning design can help people recognize financial risks earlier and make more confident financial decisions.
