Han Seth Lu is a certified early childhood educator with extensive teaching experiences in the states of Oklahoma and Texas. Han earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Leadership. He is an avid advocate for education equity and an alumnus of Teach Plus Leadership Fellows (Class of 2024), where he successfully led and implemented an equity project on his home campus. He has involved with many community organizations including Equality Texas, Black Tie Dinner, OKC Asian Night Market Festival, Student for Free Burma, and Richardson Independent School District AANHPI Heritage Month Planning Committee and Religious Practices Advisory Board. Recently, he was named the recipient of 2024 Richard Weaver Volunteer Excellence Award by the Black Tie Dinner, the nation's largest LGBTQ+ Fundraising Dinner for 43 years.
