Ghita Aqallal

Ghita Aqallal is a Moroccan Ed.M. candidate in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship at HGSE. She is the co-founder of Glocal Scholars Inc., where she leads projects exploring how education can be both globally informed and locally rooted. Through Glocal, she has built partnerships with universities, high schools, and community organizations that led to Building Bridges, a program connecting international students and non-Indigenous youth with Indigenous communities in Canada to foster kinship and a deeper understanding of place. Her work grows from a vision of education as a space where connection and creativity shape frameworks that move beyond single institutions, and where lasting change begins with subtle shifts in how people belong, listen, and relate. Ghita holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Her experiences in Morocco, China, Mexico, and Canada, continue to shape her relational and globally grounded approach to leadership.
