Hanan Wuhush

Hanan Wuhush is an educator who will always carry a piece of middle school in her heart. A PhD student in the Culture, Institutions, and Society program, Hanan’s work aims to explore how education can be a transformational tool for the mind, heart and spirit. Guided by Khalil Gibran’s words, “The teacher who walks in the shadow of the temple, among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his lovingness,” her work is centered on integrating healing centered practices in educational spaces within Palestinian communities.
